AUTH Manager Installation Guide

Prerequisites

  • Local Administrator rights are required.
  • Close all running AUTH Manager or Ensurity-related applications before installation.
  • Keep the provided installation package and API configuration file ready.

Windows Installation

Files Required

  • AUTH Manager package
  • api_config file

Installation Steps

1. Extract the ZIP File

  • Right-click the AUTH Manager ZIP file.
  • Select Extract All.
  • Extract the contents to a temporary folder.

2. Run the Installer

  • Open the extracted folder.
  • Locate the installer (Setup.exe or similar executable).
  • Right-click the installer.
  • Select Run as administrator.
  • If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes.
  • Complete the installation wizard.

3. Replace API Configuration File

  • Copy the provided api_config file.
  • Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Ensurity\AuthManager
  • Replace the existing api_config file.
  • Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Ensurity\XSenseSDKService
  • Replace the existing api_config file.

4. Restart Services / System

  • Restart the machine or restart the XSense SDK services.

5. Verification

  • Launch AUTH Manager.
  • Verify that the application opens successfully.
  • Confirm connectivity to the configured environment.

macOS Installation

Files Required

  • AUTH Manager .pkg installer

Installation Steps

1. Run the PKG Installer

  • Locate the AUTH Manager .pkg file.
  • Double-click the package.
  • Click Continue through the installation wizard.
  • When prompted, enter Administrator credentials.
  • Complete the installation.

2. Grant Permissions

  • Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  • Allow any AUTH Manager related permissions.
  • Restart the application.

3. Verification

  • Open Applications.
  • Launch AUTH Manager.
  • Confirm the application starts successfully and detects the AUTH device.

Important Notes

  • Administrator privileges are mandatory for both Windows and macOS installations.
  • On Windows, the api_config file must be replaced in both locations:

C:\Program Files\Ensurity\AuthManager

C:\Program Files\Ensurity\XSenseSDKService
